Baby Jadon

Well.... A lot has happend the past couple of months. We are in our own home now, our business keeps growing and getting more busy, and we finally have our little one!! Jadon Neale was born July 18th 2010 at 9 :04 pm. He weighed 7lbs 15 oz, and was 20" long. He is now 3 weeks old and weighs 8 lbs 6 oz and is now 21" long.. Amazes me how fast he is already growing.. We have lost some sleep, but not a whole lot.. Jadon is a great baby!! lets us sleep most of the time, and usually isnt too fussy! He loves his baby swing.. Paco has adjusted, he likes the baby and will cuddle up right next to him..

Halloween night, we had been helping some friends out. Our little Paco dog was sick and i couldnt find any baby aspirin for him so we ended up going to town. In the mean time at the store, i noticed i was about a week and a half late so we picked up a pregnancy test. We finally arrived at home around 2am. We gave paco his medicine, and we were going to watch a movie since neither of us were tired. I decided to take the test because I knew i wasnt pregnant... ha ha Oh no, i looked at the test, grabbed the paper to make sure and then showed Ben and the paper.. That was around 230am, so needless to say we didnt sleep very well that night... December 8th, was our first ultra sound appointment. The baby is healthy, 9 weeks 3 days now, and about the size of a peanut! We are so excited! Our due date for now is July 11th, 2010

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We stayed here in Oregon this year, and had a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins! We took the kids shooting, horseback riding, and went to Ashland! Not to mention all of the yummy food we ate!

Fun Times

Its been a while since i have updated anything... The end of the summer we headed to Vegas for a week and had a blast with Glenn, Diane, Josh, and Danielle. Then we headed back to oregon, and on the way stopped and saw my cousins, and the we arrived home.. Then we had work to do for our business, so we did some jobs, and also had fun with the horses. We took a really nice ride with a lot of our friends... Ben also got his first deer! so that was kind of excting! This weekend is going to be a blast, pictures will be posted as soon as i get them .. We are hosting a show for Habitat for Humanity, and theres going to be a booth for our concrete, and scentsy.. and we have family and friends coming up!!

The House Project

The last week of July i went to UT. The first week of August Ben had scout camp, so i thought i would just go down and help my parents with there house... I ended up being there for about three weeks helping my dad, a little longer than i had planned, but it turned out to be good and we were able to get the house done.. In the mean time while i was there, Ben was in OR doing work, bids etc... Then he drove down Last week to my parents.... But anyways, as you can see in the pics, it turned out to be really good! and we definitely learned soo much.

St. George, Los Angeles, and Arizona.....

Well me and Ben have made quite the journey in the past week.... We went down to St George, on the way there gave a bid for in Lake Shastina, CA. So instead of 18 hours it took us about 20 ... So we finally made it on the 25th of June.. at like 5.30 in the AM... So while were down there, we were able to spend time with friends and family.. .Ellies wedding was beautiful, and it was good to see everyone... So the following saturday after the wedding we went down to L.A. and were able to spend a couple of days there. We had a blast just hangin out, swimming, and made it to the beach! It was soo much fun, just wish we had more time, next time for sure a full week down there.... The following tuesday morning we left for Mesa, Arizona.... While we were down there we were able ot figure out a little more of what we are going to focus our business on... In the mean time got some really great exerience with countertops, and met some awesome people! Oh and i cant forget the nice hot weather!! The down side I ended up going to the hospital for what i thought was apendicitis! YUCK! Thank goodness it wasnt.... and now have an idea of what was and is causing the pain.. Now I am back in Grants Pass, i flew back since i have girls camp on monday, and Ben is now UT and is going to drive back... So just an update of whats going on in our lives...

Our first year Anniversary

This past year has flown by, it seems just like yesterday we were married, and already its our anniversary.. I am so greatful for the man i have in my life, and the friendship,relationship, and marriage we share. I only look foreward enjoying the moments we have everyday.. anwyho, sooooo The day before our anniversary one of Bens cousins was getting married up in Salem . On our way up we ended up going to Wildlife Safari, and the next day ended up on the coast. We had so much fun, unfortunately not quite long enough, but its never long enough.

Camping by the Illinois River....

This past memorial day we went camping with some of our friends down by the river. We had so much fun! The weather was beautiful, the water still a little nippy, but still a lot warmer than the Rogue River is by far. The camp site was just a random road of the side of the hill, that we couldnt even fit our truck down, but it was the perfect place. We cant wait to go again soon!

2009 Homeshow

This is our third homeshow that we have participated in the past two years now. We had a pretty good turnout, was able to show off our new countertop products, and fireplaces, and gained a few great leads and contacts. We got the opportunity to give a presentation on going green with concrete, and were also able to do some networking with other companies! Thankfully Tiffs parents were up here to help! We couldnt have done it without them, Robbie polished up a storm! It was very stressful getting everything set up but definately worth it! . Overall things went great, and we cant believe its already been a year since we officially were engaged since it was right before the may homeshow... ha ha , and now its just a month away from our 1 year anniversary!

HBA Dinner

This year we sponsored a dinner for one of the Home Builders Association meetings. It turned out really well! We were able to network with some other companies, and introduce our company to others! So it worked out really well, and we were also able to display some of our new products that we are using for countertops... As you see in the second picture! Its absolutely gorgeous, and theres more soon to come!!

Big Pine Trail

One sunday afternoon after Tiffs parents came up here, we all went on a ride, and a small walk where the largest pine tree in the world is... It was a beautiful day and as you can see, everything around us was beautiful as well.. We all went up with Pat and Ralph, and Tiffs parents... It was very relaxing and fun!

Crater Lake...

This past weekend we took the missionaries to Crater Lake. We weren't able to see much due to all the snow, but it was beautiful, and we all had soo much fun playin in the snow. There was a lodge and the snow was so high that it reached the roof! So we ended up rolling,and sliding down it, thank goodness nobody got hurt...

Portland

We went up to Portland for Derricks wedding. We went to the sealing and the reception. It was good to see a few of our friends again. We did a session also, the Portland temple is very beautiful on the inside and out! That night we ended up going bowling for like four hours, it was a blast though, but because it was sooo late, we ended up staying up there, but it was a good little miniature get-a-way. It was a long exhausting couple of days, but we had a good time and glad we went up!

Our First Baptism

. Ben had the opportunity to baptize these boys, Anthony and Isaiah, and I put the entire program together, and gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. March 14th was a special day for us. The following Sunday, Ben also confirmed both of them, so the was really special also! We are both so greatful that we could be involved in there baptism. It truly was a neat experience for both of us : )

So when we come back down from Salt Lake, we had to finish the countertop Job. In the mean time we were able to spend some time with Soni, Kelby, and Addison. We were also able to babysit Addison one day, it was soo much fun, and she was soo good and soo cute. We had a blast!We also were able to hangout with James and Jim also, we went to dinner and stuff, and were able to go to James FFA creed which i might add he did and awesom job! so over all we had a great visit and cant wait to get back!

After we got done with the world of concrete, when we got back into St. George we had an experiment countertop job to do, so we had to run up north to get some chemical. In the mean time, we had a surprise, we took Honnah up there with us. We were able to get her groomed, and bathed. It was fun, me and my dad spent a few hours cutting her hair, and then she got a bath. My parents didnt end up keeping her, but she was able to get cleaned up. So we had a good visit with my parents, and headed back down to St George...

World of Concrete

Sorry it has been a while, things have been absolutely crazy these days.... We went to the world of concrete the first week of February. We met my parents, and stayed with them at Circus Circus. We were down there for about a week running around to all the different exhibits, and were able to get a lot of networking done, and some great connections! I was able to take a class on overhead management, and accounting. It wasnt the funnest thing in the world, but i was able to learn alot! The picture is just one of many things which we ran into. We also ended up going to the shops at Ceasars and had a blast!! If i posted all of the pictures, it would take hours... lol

Well we have definitely been busy this past couple of weeks. We went to Vegas for the world of concrete with Carla and Robbie..
We made some great contacts, and was able to resolve a few issues we were having with our grinder, and was able to get our hands on some new materials, were way excited! Tiff also was able to take an overhead management and accounting class, was long but learned a lot and what NOT to do ha ha ... In the mean time , we played and went around to all the fun shops, got a great idea for a band for tiff's ring.. (I drug him into Tiffany and Co.. he he ) But over all we had a blast hangin out with everyone. Then after all of that we went up to enterprise and spend time with Soni, Kelby, Addi, Glenn, Diane, Josh, and Danielle. We had so much fun! It snowed the day we left enterprise on our way to Diamond Valley. We have just been hanging out there with everyone... Its been nice!

January update...

This month has been pretty good! We were able to a job in medford, the contractor just wanted a basic grind to level out the floor, and thought we did a really great job! So that was exciting. Ben had a fun birthday, it was mello but fun! You should ask him what he got... he he I have been working on quickbooks, and updating everything from last year... YUCK and that dont even describe it .. ha ha Tonight, Ben and the guys are doing Polish at one of the major furniture supply stores in grants pass, mainly for marketing, so it should turn out really well, and hopefully we'll get some leads off it! : ) Other than that we are getting ready to leave next week for the World of Concrete in Vegas!

Christmas stuff!!

Our Christmas season this year started off with a wonderful ward party. The food was delicious as always, and there were many beautiful musical numbers. Which i might add that I played "Ill Be Home for Christmas" on my saxophone while Pat accompanied me on the piano. As nervous as i was, it turned out better than i thought, especially considering i hadnt played in like three years.

I ended up going to Utah for my dads retirement, it was a lot of fun seeing everyone, and getting to spend time with my parents, and the babies Lady and Rocky. It was quite the adventure getting getting back to Oregon. Flights were cancelling left and right, and i had to fly through the two airports that had the worst weather.. ha ha So luckily i made it back to Medford at midnight on the 22nd, THANKGOODNESS.. i was so afraid i woudl be stuck in an airport during christmas. I was glad to be home. After all that, we stayed home for Christmas, it was nice and mellow.

Thanksgiving time

A lot of events went on around Thanksgiving, we stayed home and had a wonderful dinner with Pat and Ralph, and some friends, and after that we played a few games, it was soo much fun! We ended up going on a horseback ride that day, it wasnt to cold so we thought we would go out and have some fun. We also got a surprise, and ended up with another horse, so at that time we were dealing with 3!!

The day after thanksgiving, was even more interesting. We made the "famous candy" It was a blast! and i think all of us found it very difficult to stay out of the chocolate, and the candy ha ha. Over all we had so much fun doing everything!

well we made it back from utah and have been back in oregon for two weeks.. it has been raining alot, but at least not every day.. thank goodness.

we have been able to get a few jobs done.. we got the garage job done done with the spray top, it turned out GREAT!! i will have the pictures up here in a minute.. next we have to work on the counter tops, some pieces for james, and the breeze way and the the huge pool sample. we are excited.

the horse is doing alot better, we went for a short little ride tonite. he is really well behaved, and is doing awesome. we just want to see him fatter before teh rest of winter hits... it is supposed to get pretty chilly tonight.

the goats are still alive.. so i guess it is good. they are fun to have... they are attacking the black berrys and are just goats. we are going to build the lean to for the goats, horse and fire wood maybe next week.

we leave for utah on the 21st-ish, we are excited to come down and do the training and the next job down there. we want to get soem mroe trainign and am excited to learn more about stamp overlay and eco-stain...

but the main reason we are super stoked is we have soni, kelby and addi coming to vist in the morning!!! we are all so excited!!! it is going to be a great weekend..

well in mentioning that it is cold out, i remebered that i have some material that cant freeze, that is in the bed of the truck...

Babysitting

Soooo the other day i was able to babysit my little nephew Hayd'n with my mom while Ben was out and about with my dad. He has grown up sooo much since i seen im last ( the wedding) Hes soo cute, and loves his aunt tiffy ( i try not to spoil him too bad) Ben was able to seem him for a little while, he loves uncle ben.. Ben had him in histarics by tickling him, it was soo cute!! anyways it was a blast playing with him and being able to see how much he is growing up...
Oh and another.... yes, i changed my hair yet again ( ben wanted me to go platinum agian lol ) Our lil sis Ellie did a great job on the hair!! : )

utah trip

Hey everyone!

well were are finally back in utah for a week or two. we have been wanting to get back here for a while. We have been so busy up in oregon and a trip for fun was just not able to get done. but we made it into vernon around 9 last night.

but it has been a crazy trip. we are helping my friend get moved out here from oregon, so we have all of his stuff in my single axle 6' x 12' enclosed pace trailer and then all my equpitment in the bed of the new truck. we are running kinda heave for the weight limit on the trailer. but it is fine, the truck can deffinatly handle the weight, but what worries us is the trailer. it gets kinda loose back there and is bouncy on bad roads, and with the lifted truck it puts the tail of the trailer really really close to the ground. we really need to get a new, bigger, double axle trailer. i want a car hauler, like a 14 / 16 footer.

so tuesday night i went and helped pack and load robs stuff in the trailer. we had to get the largest drop hitch we could find, a 10" drop adjustable hitch, and it is STILL not down far enough!! but rob and i worked on loading the trailer till 1 am, and by the home and in bed it was 2 30, then up at 7 30, and packed out stuff, and got alot done at the house. we had to give a bid in medford berfore we left, so we could not leave till 6 pm.

we got the bid, so it was very worth the wait. but we left medford at close to 7, and decied to go all the way to sacremento then across the 80 to reno and winnamuca. tiff has family there in winny. we got to winnamuca at 6 30 am... slept, hung out and then were on the road again till 9 last night... yuck.

tiff did get to drive for about an hour, she did good, but does not like drving with the little trailer back there. it pushes the truck around a bit. i was pretty proud of her.

but the bad news is i have had the truck for 2 weeks, and have gotten pulled over 2 times already. once due to trailer lights inop, and last night we were speeding. but honestly we did not see a speed limit sign at all. the cop was cool both times and we did not even get written up.

can you believe it, i have gone... ready.. 2 years with out a ticket... no joke... this is from the guy that had only 3.. pages of records at the dmv.. to now.. not a single ticket on record. yeah baby!!

so today we have to go look at the job sites, order chemicals, run errands and then we are going to drive to see my family and friends in st george. then come back up here sunday night, work monday and tues on the murry project.. and do some training with form co and sure crete. and get to see some of tiff's family up here also. we are also going to try and do the alpine store while we are out here. but i have not heard back from the general contractor on it.

it is amazing how much decrotive concrete is popular out here. and how many companies are utah based that are major players in teh deco crete industry. makes me proud. so we will be doing alot of traveling even out here, between layton, alpine, orem, murry, sandy, and north salt lake. and since tiff folks live an hour from slc it is alot of driving. but it is all good.

truck ad

so we finally got the ad installed on the truck.. i was going to get it put on the red one, but since we were getting a new one i waited.. and waited... and finally got it done.. and i love it!! I think it looks very professional and modern.

the next step is to get the website posted in 3 inch tall letters on the bottom of the tailgate, s right at most peoples level.. since the truck is so huge... we have yet to find a taller truck in grants pass.. but today when we ran to the doctors, grandma rode with us to WhALe-mart and i didnt have her step stool on the back... so she had to put one knee up then climb in from there.. i have to get the step lowered or always carry the stool with me...

ok tiff is not well again tonight, and i am here doing paper work and research on some new products i am going to be carring and installing on a few homes coming up rather quickly.

i just realized that when we get back from utah i have about 6 jobs to get done.. and get done fast, as well the fact the stores have been begging me for samples for the concrete counter tops, my own counter tops, and the web site and paperwork, and so much more.. it is very very exciting..

so I am still learning how to use this new set up, and the pictures do not work the way i think they should.. but i just wanted to do a bland update and show some of the stuff we have been up to. and some of the going-ons that we have been doing.

we have been very very busy this last week, with trying to get tiff better, and my eye, and the new products that we are going to be carrying, planning the trip to utah, the new website, and the yard here.

we finally started to ride the horse, got his feet done again so we can safely ride him, and have been riding him every other day, and work him on the hills to build his shoulders and butt. but i am very glad to get him back in shape, and to build him up for winter. I have not built his shelter yet, but will when i get back. he has quite a spot in the top of the pasture, in the trees. full of madrone and pine, and is quite the spot. about 3 weeks ago the next door neighbors dogs, bull mastifs. got into the pasture and all three where chasing duke.. he was able to out run them, and the owner got the dogs before i got the gun. lucky for the dogs. and since then the dogs have tried to get across the fence again. while riding the horse yesturday one dog got loose, but the owner got to him before he crossed the fence. I wory about tiff riding the horse if the dogs get out, but we know duke can out run them, as long as we can hang on.

but life is great here in paradise, the days are getting shorter, and the nights cool down alot. but it is amazing. the big pond is drying up alot. the back side is abut all dry, so it is not really an island anymore. but the fishing is still great. we are going to have a big fountain next yeat to help with the algae.

grandma and grandpa are great.. we have so much fun with them. they are such a great example, and very supportive and we have fun at dinner every night. we get to help eacther thru out the day. and we get to learn alot from them. we love them so much and have a greta time being with them. we are making many life changing memories.

like a poke in the eye

SO since my tiffee has been sick, i have been super busy and trying to get caught up also.. and in fixing a broken sprinkler, i found a bush.... a man eye eating shrubbery that mauled my left eye. dang it!!! freaking ruined my productivity for the day... but me and tiff got to take a nap, cuddle and ..... i get a patch..... crappy i am not a happy camper... but it is life... hahaha

Bens idea of a "catch up"

hey, so we have talked about doing a blog for a long time now, and we both have our myspaces, so that seems to be where we do must of our updates and sharing. but now with this we look forward to keeping in touch with family and friends better.. plus dad can look at it at work!!! haha

well tiff and i will be doing soem "back blogs" to bring everyone up to speed, or at least get to share soem stuff that has happened in the past.

but currently this is where we stand..

Tiff and I are in southern oregon, recently married, and loving life. and I mean loving life because i have learned to embrace the challenges that come.. and they are out there..

right now tiff is down in bed, she is not well. Saturday night she had a horrible pain and we had to take her to the hospital, well, two hospitals... and they did a semi diag of kidney stones. so she has not yet pasted the stone, as far as we know. she is in alot of pain even with the pain pills. but we hope and pray that she will be better soon.

we got a new truck last week... it was time since the red dodge was only getting 14 mpg freeway and pullign it was far far less. and it just needed more....

so we upgraded by alot... tiff found and loved the truck... so she picked it, and outed my ideas of a ford 7.3, but i love thius truck.. it is just HUGE... quad cab long bed with 6" tuff county lift, 37.5 inch tires, and tiffee cant even see in the bed of the truck unless she is on here tippy toes. ew have to get a ladder for grandma to get in. but it is very nice. ohh and yeah, it has a diesel... so far been getting almost 20 mpg, and got almost 500 miles out of the first tank, plus got the fuel filter replaced, and that always losses fuel. we are really excited about it

and yes, my scouts call it " the wifes truck"... gggrrrrr

but other then that life is great and fun.. we are excited to be working... we have alot of bigs out right now, most in the 3-20 thousand range.. alot of pool decks, a church floor redo, and counter tops, we have a polish job in utah next week, and maybe a few more floors out there, as well as some trainign with a new product line also.
